I was making dinner for Ben. Decided on making some good ole Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. (the cheesiest) You know how there's that little half circle spot on the side of the top of the box that says 'PUSH HERE TO OPEN' ??? Well, how come it doesn't work? There are no perforations. If they are there, they are too small to be considered a perforation. (am i spelling that right?- who cares..) You know it wont work even as you are trying to do it. Jabbing your thumb nail into the place that should be perforated. Only to push awkwardly to push and poke at the box to no avail. I always think that THIS is the time it will work. It never is. Then you stab at it with the end of the nearest utensil. This has a 95% failure rate. Then it's on to either ripping the top of the box off. (this usually is kinda hard to do because the top is super glued together and has to be shredded off piece by unwilling piece). For the brave souls, a knife is an option. The question is.... Do you knife the top of the box or the half circle?? I lean towards the half circle. That damned half circle....
My kid will not go to bed. Gaaahhhh. Seriously.
I haven't taken the Christmas tree down yet. Whoa, don't get your panties in a bunch. It's not a real tree. It's a little 4 footer faux pine. It's pretty. I find it very relaxing to look at before bed. Is it so wrong to celebrate the birth of Jesus every day???? Yeah, so It will come down before February. It's not like anyone else lives here. Except for my kiddo. He likes it too. He has no idea that everyone else already took theirs down 2 weeks ago...LOL
The side mirrors on my car fell off. Like, I shut the door one day and the drivers side mirror fell out of the thingee that sticks out of the side of the car and holds it (wtf?) and shattered to the ground. A couple of weeks later the other side went when my aunt (who obviously thinks all car doors should be slammed hard enough to make you jump- hope she never catches a body part in there!) slammed the passenger side door. So I really can't see behind me. Is this illegal? Should be. Feels dangerous.
Bought new pets today. Krimmet and Grimmet. Quarter sized African Dwarf Frogs. They were 2.99 a piece. Lets see if I can keep these things alive. If not, they are cheap and all look alike so Ben will never know I replaced them. So, now I have a son, 2 guinea pigs, 1 betta fish, 2 African Dwarf Frogs.... (and a Partridge in a Pear treeeeeeeee).
